RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF MATERIALS/NAME AND/OR LIKENESS
This site is owned and operated by Wice, LLC. Any use of any of the materials, name and/or likeness on this site other than for private, non-commercial viewing purposes is strictly prohibited. The sale, auction, lease, loan, gift, trade or barter, or use of any of the text, graphics, photographs, name, likeness, audio and/or video material, or stills from audiovisual material or any other materials contained herein, for any other purpose, in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed, including the use of any of the aforementioned materials on any other web site or networked computer environment, without a prior written consent from Wice LLC, is expressly prohibited. MichaelWeiss.org and its affiliates have launched this web site to enable Michael Weiss’ fans to have an opportunity to find out more about Mike on the ice and off the ice activities. The privacy of information the Company may collect from you or your children is a very important matter. (When we use the term “you” or “your”, we are referring both to a parent and their children under the age of 13.) To help you better understand the privacy policies applicable to this web site we have answered several questions below:

1. What personally identifiable information will be collected from users of the web site?
At this time we will not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, phone number, social security number) from you to the web site except in three cases: (1) your name, age, and email address if you register for our mailing list (2) information necessary to respond to an email you may send to the web site or (3) information necessary to purchase a product from the “store”.

2. What personally identifying information will be collected from an email I send to the web site?
We will only use any personally identifying information contained in your email to respond to your specific inquiry or comments in the e-mail. Though we may keep your e-mail for a period of time, we will not use any personally identifying information contained in your e-mail for any purpose othis than responding to your specific inquiry or comments. The only time we will keep personal information such as name, mailing address and email address is from persons who wish to be on our mailing list. However, for children who are under the age of 13, we intend only add their mails to our mailing list if we have received what we believe is parental consent in compliance with applicable law (Please see answer to question #7 below)

3. What personally identifying information will be collected if I purchase merchandise from the store at the web site?
If you purchase a product from the web site, then we will ask for your name, address, email address, credit card number and othis information that is necessary to complete the transaction. To the extent that we outsource the e-commerce function to a third party will enter into a contract requiring them to use your personally identifiable information only to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. . However, we will not be responsible for their actual conduct in dealing with any personally identifiable information. Furthis, we will not be able to in any way restrict how any credit card company or financial institution will use data received from us in processing any purchase.

4. What happens if I register for the mailing list?
If you register for our mailing list you will need to provide your name, email address and your age so we can verify whethis you are 13 or older. Once on our mailing list we will send you emails telling you about Mike’s competitions, shows and adventures. We will not sell to or share our mailing list with any person othis than those necessary to operate the web site or as may be required by applicable law. We may send you information about products or services that are sponsors of the web site or that we believe you might be interested in finding out about.

5. Will you collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13?
We will collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 only to respond to emails or if they register for the mailing list. The collection of personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 is restricted by the Childern’s Online Privacy Protection Act which requires among othis requirements parental consent to the collection of any personally identifiable information. In an effort to comply with COPPA, we will only respond to emails if the person registers for the mailing list. The mailing list will require that the person registering must state their age. If they are under 13, then one of the parents of the child will need to register as part of a family registration. If we do not receive parental consent within a reasonable period of time, we will delete the personally identifiable information about such children from our data base. At any time a parent may request that his or his child or children’s name, age and email address be removed from the our mailing list by emailing to [webmaster@michaelweiss.org]

6. Will you collect any othis type of information at the web site?
We sometimes collect information to find out how people found the Mike Weiss site, which pages they visited, and how long they stayed. This information does not include any personally identifiable information about your child. We use this information to improve the site, and for marketing purposes.
8. Will you ever change your policies regarding collecting personally identifiable information?
In the future we hope to add interesting features to the web site that allow you to interact with the web site and enhance your experience. If we add new features that enables us to collect personally identifiable information in instances othis than the three described in Question #1 above, we will update this privacy policy so you will know exactly how we will use such information. We reserve the right to make changes to our privacy policy and request that you check back hise frequently to be sure you are aware of our most recent policies.
