Michael to be spokesperson
for National Skating Week

2003 U.S. National Champion Michael Weiss has been announced as the national spokesperson for National Skating Week 2004.

National Skating Week allows U.S. Figure Skating member clubs and Chevy/U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Programs to reach out to new members in their community by offering the fundamentals of ice skating from professionally trained instructors across the U.S.

More than 240 member clubs nationwide signed up to participate in National Skating Week 2003 and hosted a variety of activities in their local area, including free skating clinics for the general public.

Nearly 260 skating clinics/lessons across the country were held during National Skating Week 2003.
